1. Drag the beach photo to your desktop

• CROP the photo under the EDIT menu

• change the photos HUE under the ENHANCE menu - HUE AND SATURATION

• use any EFFECT you like to enhance your photo

2. Open the horse photo,

• ROTATE the photo under the EDIT menu

• use any EFFECT you like to enhance your photo

3. Open the flower, use the EFFECT menu to alter your photos. Try different fliters so you will understand what each one does.

• use fine art, liquid, tiling, emboss or motion blur to change your photo, fisheye, cone, sphere, whirlpool, spiral, cylinder, ribbon or magic mirror to change your photo (You may use more than one effect on each photo but record what you do since you will present your photos to the class and what filters you have used.)

• create several LAYERS to try many DIFFERNET EFFECT on this photo

take differnet pics of the image with different filter effects (apple, shift, 4)

 

4. Create a NEW file 800x600 pixels 200 dpi resolution. Use all of the following tools to create a free form art work:

• create a fill color

• add text to your screen, add a drop shadow to that text e

 

• use spray paint and paint brush with two different colors

• use the stamp

• apply a gradient

• use the line tool

5. Use the PHOTOBOOTH on your computer to create your own digital image and drag it to your desktop then FILE OPEN the image in PhotoStudio.

• use any effect or other tools to change your image.

INSERT the screen caputures of your GRAPHCIS to a new page of your Jeffco Google website to a new page called GRAPHICS.

Glossary

desktop - The part of the finder that gives you the visual of files, applications, folders and image.

doc - the area on a Mac where shortcut images to many applications you may use sit.
