Tips for creating a Jeffco password

  • Passwords must be at least 8 characters long.
  • Passwords must contain at least two of the following:
    • - lower case letter
    • - upper case (capital) letter
    • - number
    • - special character (i.e. &, #, %, etc.)
  • Never write a password on a piece of paper.
  • Never share passwords with anyone.
  • Do not reuse your previous password.
  • Use different passwords for Jeffco and personal accounts.
  • An easy-to-recall method for creating a secure password is to create a password by using the first letter of each word in a sentence that’s easy for you to remember. Such as: “I like to ride bikes on Saturday mornings” creates the password: “IltrboSm”

Two Wolves
One evening an old Cherokee told his grandson about a battle that goes on inside people. He said, "My son, the battle is between two "wolves" inside us all.

One is Evil. It is anger, envy, jealousy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority, and ego.

The other is Good. It is joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion and faith."

The grandson thought about it for a minute and then asked his grandfather: "Which wolf wins?"

The old Cherokee simply replied, "The one you feed."
